Technical: Runs on Skull Tag.

Map Difficulty: Only one setting. I found it to be hard but I am not a GREAT doomer. There is enough ammo to kill everyone but I tried to give little in the way of health. If the player can find it there is one mega sphere on the map. The battles in the map can be tricky at first but a player should be able to beat the big battles after 1-2 tries. Because the map is mostly linear I feel there is unfortuneately not much replay value.

Traps: Enemies teleport behind you, pop out from behind doors or crates, and hide in the shadows waiting for you. "Ghost" enemies are present in the map in limited numbers and add a few surprises of their own. There are only three areas that I did this in and I found ways to either restrain their movement or give you some reaction time to them (teleports for instance).

Architecture: The architecture is simple and not meant to be awe inspiring eye candy. There is just enough to keep the mood of the map.

Secrets: The secrets are not terribly hard to find and two are kind of cool. Try looking in the shadows (There is a lift hidden in shadow very early on that takes you to the super shotgun and in the big crate room there is a dark passage way hidden between crates that takes you to vision goggles).

Weapons: The highest weapon is a plasma gun but you don't get too much ammo for it. The chain gun, shotgun, and super shotgun are also present with the super shot gun being hidden in a secret early on. The shotgun ammo is plentiful and should be your staple weapon.

Length: It took me ten - fifteen minutes to beat the map when I tested it and I died two times ( I used save points ). This is not a very large map but it does find some interesting ways to surprise the player (believe it or not I actually forgot where a trap was and got killed).

What's Cool?: I tried to create some interesting shadows in the game, especially the openning few rooms. Most are very subtle and I felt some of the corners having small shadows looked cool. I also did something aesthetic that I'd never seen before; cracks in the floor. I tried to create some unique battles, namely 2 large ones: A battle among a bunch of crates in a large dark room and the final battle which is something of a surprise. There is a small teleporter maze in a large semi-dark room that can be a little confusing. One way to beat it is to always do a full 360 after you've teleported to get your bearings and don't waste your time trying to get the items (This is the only part in the map which has no fighting in it and may be frustrating to the player if he just tries to run through it).

Overall: Not stellar, not bad. I'm shooting for something that is just plain fun to play and sometimes makes you jump.
